It's a winner

Winter's Bone.  I'm watching it again.  I saw it months and months ago.  It's just one of those movies that lingers, niggling the back of the brain and leaving an indelible mark.  Bleak, insular community, and a heroine with more tenacity than any 10 people.  The performances blew me away the first time and they are just as good this time around.  If you haven't seen it I strongly recommend it.
